And what gave birth to a full-blown FBI Investigation...eventually, US Attorney, Preet Bharra* filed a complaint with Judge Katherine Forrest of the Southern District. In his argument, Bharra actually 'threaded a needle' from the NYC Building-'Iranian Entities' to the Islamic Republic of Iran, The World's Largest State Sponsor of Terror. It was compelling: US Dollars$$$ + Weapons of Mass Destruction=> Iran. Judge Forrest's ruling in favor of Bharra's complaint and the US Government's seizure of 650 5th Avenue was just the beginning of a highly contested decision.
